So it's vappu (aka the first of May or May Day (lol at that)). Or was. It's almost the 2nd of May already sooo x)
Yeah. What did I do? I finished my Nintendo DS holster that I started yesterday (30th of April)!
This is how it turned out like:

Basically, I just cut two pieces of fabric (about 25 cm x 25 cm), one black and one pink, then folded the fabrics in two (if you know what I mean...), sewed the edges together so they both were "pouches" and after that turned the pink pouch inside out.
Next step was to use the fabric colour to create the figures on the black pouch. Easier said than done... I had to do many fixes x) Of course, I had first done the templates (pain in the butt, btw) and now it was just the matter of painting. And ironing x)
When that was done I... inserted the pink pouch inside the black one.
Last but not least came the zipper. Ooh... THAT was big b*tch... I placed the sides of the zipper between the pouches so that it'd be hidden nicely and that the whole thing could be reversable.
Sewing the first side was easy... but the other side... Gah, I had to sew the end by hand. And I'm crappy with things like that so it was kinda annoying :'D
But it turned out pretty nice :3
I also went to the movies to see Leap Year and my gosh is Matthew Goode hot or something!
Well anyhow... Here's my May Day-makeup I did because I went outside the house x)
